Locust Trace Shines at 2025 National FFA Convention
Locust Trace AgriScience Center had a great showing at the National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis. Among the highlights:
- Caroline Groth completed her year of service as National FFA Eastern Region vice president.
- Nathan Clark was one of four finalists for the American Star Farmer award.
- Addison Hillard was selected Outstanding Chair in the Parliamentary Procedure Leadership Development Event – the first Kentucky FFA member to receive this honor.
- Katie Beth Skaggs represented Kentucky in the National FFA Band.
In addition, Locust Trace earned a gold rating in Parliamentary Procedure and a silver rating in Agricultural Issues in the National Career Development & Leadership Development Events.
Over 73,000 FFA members, advisers, and guests attended the Oct. 29-Nov. 1 convention. It’s the largest youth organization gathering in the country.
